Silicone Oils Description
Hydroxy silicone oil, also known as dimethyl hydroxy silicone oil, has the structural formula of HO[(CH3)2SiO]nH. This silicone oil is colorless, transparent, tasteless and odorless. Soluble in carbon tetrachloride, benzene, chloroform, ether, toluene and other organic solvents, insoluble in water and ethanol, low viscosity hydroxy silicone oil has a certain solubility in water.

It can be used in the manufacture of silicone hydroxy emulsion as a treatment agent for fabrics, paper and leather. Dimethyl hydroxy silicone oil is widely used as a structure control agent in the processing of silicone rubber. It can effectively control the structural interaction between the rubber compound and the Fumed Silica, improve the processing performance of the silicone rubber, and prolong the storage period of the rubber compound. Dimethyl hydroxy silicone oil can also be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of various polysiloxanes.

Speciality Silicones Applications

MESIL® ME HF-20 Hydroxy Terminated Silicone Fluid can be used as constitution controller of Methyl Vinyl Silicone Rubber compounding, and chain extender of synthesize the other products.

MESIL® ME HF-20 Hydroxy Terminated Silicone Fluid can be used as waterproof agent, softener agent and anti-sticky agent in textile, paper, leather industries etc.

Packaging and storage

MESIL® ME HF-20series is packaged with net weight 190 kg steel drum or net weight 950 kg IBC drum.

20’ GP FCL can full-load 80 steel drums(15,200.0 kg) or 18 IBC drums(17,100.0 kg).

In the original unopened packaging, MESIL® ME HF-20 series fluid has a shelf life of 12 months when stored at ambient temperatures. The product does not freeze and there are no restrictions on storage.
