Introducing our premium Silica for Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) and Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR) applications. Our Silica is a high-quality reinforcing filler that enhances the mechanical properties and durability of FRP and UPR composites. With its excellent dispersion and compatibility, our Silica ensures uniform reinforcement throughout the material, resulting in improved strength, stiffness, and impact resistance. It also offers exceptional heat resistance, making it ideal for applications that require high-temperature stability. Our Silica is easy to incorporate into FRP and UPR formulations, allowing for seamless integration into your manufacturing processes. Trust our Silica to elevate the performance and reliability of your FRP and UPR products.

Fumed Silica for Fiber Reinforced Polymer(FRP) and UPR

Description:

In the production process of FRP, unsaturated polyester resin is an important part of FRP. Our Hydrophilic fumed silica can control the Rheology, the viscosity of FRP and achieve the desired thixotropy and is also an indispensable and efficient thickener.

Unsaturated polyester resin is generally a linear polymer compound with ester bond and unsaturated double bond, which is formed by polycondensation of unsaturated dibasic acid diol or saturated dibasic acid unsaturated diol. In our country, the material has been widely used and developed rapidly, and now it is an integral part of many glass fiber reinforced plastic objects. Our silica helps control the viscosity of unsaturated polyester resins and achieve the desired thixotropy, while also being an indispensable and efficient thickener.

The benefits for Fiber Reinforced Polymer(FRP) and UPR
Optimal rheological control for ideal viscosity
Prevents solids from precipitating in the resin
Gel-like resin thins when sheared for easy processing
