Application of silica in the field of ceramics
HJSIL® and HPSIL® Silica

Market and Applications Description:

For technical ceramic applications, we offer silicas with large surface areas and high chemical purity. They improve the properties and quality of ceramic materials and facilitate processing. The role of silica in clays and glazes, it provides a melting or vitrifying agent in the clay body that keeps materials together. However, silica has a fairly high melting point, so it usually needs to be melted at lower temperatures by adding other materials.

Fumed Silica Applications:
Coatings, paints, printing inks
Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR)
Heat Vulcanized (HTV) Silicone Rubber
Sealants, adhesives
Personal care and cosmetic
